Cardiff and UWIC HC Men’s 6th team currently play in South Wales Division One.
The team has been in existence for 4 years and, following an initial bedding-in year in Div. 3, we stormed through back to back promotions (the second as the Division 2 Champions) to reach the heady heights of South Wales Division 1.
The rapid ascent did result in severe case of vertigo during our first season but, taking points were we could and searching the land far and wide for top hockey talent, we toughed it out, fought hard, and finished last season in a respectable 8th place. Onwards and upwards…. as long there’s a pint at beer (or two) at the end.
Colin Chapman is Captain and he, together with the Mr Rhodri Davies and Blake Cuckow, forms the organisational trilogy of the team.
